Upcoming events

Dear Oshwals,

I trust you are all well.

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts on ourselves, families, neighbours and friends across the street and globe, I wish to take this opportunity to remind all of you to be vigilant and adhere to the state government guidelines in taking the relevant precautions against this torrid virus.

The Committee has postponed all forthcoming events, including the AGM, until a safe and suitable time arises.

The Committee wishes to make a call out to volunteers within our community to assist the elderly and physically immobile people with attending to their basic needs such as grocery shopping or collecting medicines from the pharmacy, in this critical time of need.

If you are interested to be a volunteer for this purpose, please message/WhatsApp the VOCA Secretary on 0434 745 695 with your name and suburb you live in. We will then contact you if assistance is required from you.

It also goes without saying that if you need any assistance from the VOCA Committee during this period, please do contact me on 0418 865 329 or the Secretary on 0434 745 695 without hesitation.

As always embodied in our Oshwal spirit, look out for each other and your neighbours as we navigate this uncharted territory.

Kind Regards

Hitesh P Shah

Easter 2019, voca organised a camping / adventure trip to the Stirling Ranges in the South West. What started as a very cold rainy journey into the Stirling Ranges ended up a trip worth remembering where new friendships were formed, experiences were shared by the young and old alike.

There was a lot of hiking, laughter, eating and sightseeing in Albany. To see more pictures click here.

Watch out for the next camping trip.
